There are multiple job opportunities available in the field of IT. As per NASSCOM Indian IT Industry revenues grew by 13% in FY2015 and it added 2,30,000 employees in FY15. NASSCOM has forecasted that IT industry exports will grow by 12-14% and domestic market by 15-17% in FY2016 ( Actual data is yet to be released. Indias IT-BPM industry is projected to grow ~8% in FY2017 to USD 154 billion. In light of the very disruptive emerging technologies, the industry is re-imagining itself to become the Digital Solutions Partner for the world. CSE & IT grads from top engineering colleges have excellent career opportunities. Following are the option to become Software Engineer after 10+2 : (a) BTech CS or BTech IT (b) BCA (c) BSc CS or BSc IT (d) Diploma in Computer Science (e) Training from training institutes. Following options are available for any graduate to become software engineer after graduation degree if candidate had Maths as subject in 10+2: (a) MCA (b) MSc CS or MSc IT Any engineering graduate can appear in GATE examination and do MTech Computer Science to become a software engineer.
