Most important topics to focus on while preparing for B.Arch exams. It has 2 parts. Part 1 being Mathematics & General Aptitude Part 2 being Drawing test Part 1 Consists of - MATHEMATICS Algebra: Definitions of A. P. and G.P.; General term; Summation of first n-terms of series. Arithmetic/Geometric series, A.M., G.M. and their relation; Infinite G.P. series and its sum. Logarithms: Definition; General properties; Change of base. Matrices: Concepts of m x n (m 3, n 3) real matrices, operations of addition, scalar multiplication and multiplication of matrices. Transpose of a matrix. Determinant of a square matrix. Properties of determinants (statement only). Minor, cofactor and adjoint of a matrix. Nonsingular matrix. Inverse of a matrix. Finding area of a triangle. Solutions of system of linear equations. (Not more than 3 variables). Trigonometry: Trigonometric functions, addition and subtraction formulae, formulae involving multiple and submultiple angles, general solution of trigonometric equations. AMU conducts AMUEEE exam for giving admission to the eligible students in B.Arch course. The candidates who pass their class 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognised central or state board with atleast 50% marks and PCM as a subject in the qualifying exam. AMUEEE exam has two part Paper 1and Paper 2 and B.Arch student have to appear in both paper. Students have to score more than 40% marks in paper 2 for getting admission in B.Arch course. Paper 2 is the Architectural Aptitude Test. Question are asked from the syllabus of PCM in class 11th and 12th. Exam Contains 150 question and 1 mark is awarded for every correct answer and 0.25 marks are deducted as negative marking for the wrong answer. Exam is of 3 hour. Paper 2 is also compulsory and for admission, a student has to score atleast 40% marks. This paper contains some descriptive type questions and a test of drawing. This exam is also of 3-hour duration.
