English Language, Numerical Ability, Reasoning and General Knowledge are the 4 parts of the exam. Each section has 25 questions. Each section of 75 marks. Each section with dedicated time for 45 minutes. Duration of the exam is 3 hours. Marking System-The applicant secures 3 marks for every right answer while he/she will lose 1 mark for every wrong answer. Syllabus - Logical Reasoning - Reading Comprehension Para Jumble English grammar Vocabulary Quantitiave Ability: Data interpretations & Data Sufficiency Arithmetic Algebra One can refer the mathematics of 9-10th and for reasoning is better to refer CAT preparation material. There are good books available for reasoning/qualitative/verbal ability. Selection of candidates would be solely based on their performance in the entrance exam organized by the institute.

English Language - Sequence of Sentences, Comprehension, Synonyms, Fillers, Antonyms, Idioms and Phrases, One Word Substitution & Common Errors. 2. Numerical and Data Analysis - HCF and LCM, Number System, Profit and Loss, Percentage, Time, Speed and Distance, Average, Simple Interest, Plane Geometry, Ratio and Proportion, Data Sufficiency & Data Interpretation. 3. Reasoning and Intelligence - Classification, Analogy Test, Coding-Decoding Test, Series Test, Alphabet Test, Direction Test, Comprehension of Ranks, Blood Relations Test, Image Test, Cube and Dice, Counting of Figures Test, & Miscellaneous Test. 4. General Knowledge - Geography, Indian History, Indian Economy, Indian Polity, General awareness,5. General Science, Business Awareness. Exam pattern:- 1. English Language - 25 Questions. 2. Numerical and Data Analysis - 25 Questions. 3. Reasoning and Intelligence - 25 Questions. 4. General Knowledge - 25 Questions. Total Marks - 3*100 = 300. Total Questions - 100. Test duration- 3 hours. Marking system: The applicant gets 3 marks for every right answer while he/she will lose 1 mark for every wrong answer.

BIT Mesra conducts this exam every year.The exam is conducted to test candidates for hotel management course at BIT. The minimum eligibility for the test is 10+2 with 45%.(40% in case of reserved categories). The duration of the exam is 2 hours and 200 MCQ questions are there. Each section has 25 questions. The syllabus is made up of: 1. English Language - Sequence of Sentences, Comprehension, Synonyms, Fillers, Antonyms, Idioms and Phrases, One Word Substitution & Common Errors. 2.
