Every year the Banaras Hindu University (BHU) conducts an All India entrance examination for admission to Bachelor of Arts (BA) programmes offered by the university. Entrance exam has been divided into five sections namely General Awareness, Numerical Aptitude, General Mental Ability, General English and Social Science, each divided into number of individual chapters. Mathematical Aptitude Test Areas (+2 Level): Logarithms, Inequalities, Matrices and Determinants, Progressions, Binomial Expansion, Permutation and Combination, Equations (upto degree 2), Function and Relation, Complex Arithmetic, 2-D Coordinate Geometry, Basics of Calculus, Basic Concepts of Probability. Analytical and Logical Reasoning: Questions will be mainly for checking logical conclusion, graphical/data interpretation, etc.

Baranas Hindu University (BHU) conducts Postgraduate Entrance Test (PET) for admissions to its PG programmes offered by its affiliated/constituent colleges. The programmes are offered in Humanities, Fine Arts, Performing Arts, Science, Engineering, Commerce, Management, Mass Communication, Hospitality, Travel, and Teaching streams For admissions to MCA to programmes, students must hold a Bachelor’s Degree under at least 10+2+3 pattern in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate, (including all subjects studied at Bachelor's level except those subjects where only pass marks are required and which do not contribute to the total in the final (degree) mark-sheet.) with Mathematics as one of the subjects at either Intermediate or +2 (10+2) or equivalent examination, or, Bachelors level (as a main or a subsidiary subject). BHU PET for MCA will have a single paper which will needs to be answered in a time duration of 120 minutes. There will be 120 multiple-choice questions carrying 360 marks. The questions will be on Mathematical Aptitude (about 80 questions) and Analytical and Logical Reasoning (about 40 questions).

Banaras Hindu University conducts Post Graduate Entrance Test (PET) every year for admission in various Post graduate courses by Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Science, Faculty of Commerce and Faculty of social Sciences. The eligibility criteria for PET is that the student must have passed B.A. (Hons)/ BA/B.Sc (Hons)/B.Sc. under 10+2+3 patter and the students must have obtained minimum 50% marks in the aggregate of all subjects at graduation. Since the PET exam syllabus is different for different courses in science, humanities, social sciences, commerce, I'm attaching a link below which will give you a complete idea of BHU PET:

BHU is a university of national importance in India. Every year lakhs of students apply to get admission in this college. BHU conducts its own entrance exam for admission in UG or PG level. BHU PET is an exam for the students who want to do Masters from BHU for arts, science, commerce, management, travel and tourism and other fields. Those students who have scored more than 50% marks in their Bachelors are eligible for the exam. BHU PET is a pen paper test organized in one day all over India. Time Duration for solving the question is only 120 min i.e. 2 hours. Question pattern varies from course to course. But there is a common portion of general knowledge and logical thinking.
