There is no fixed syllabus for JNU Entrance Exam. However, the questions asked in the entrance are usually from the last studied degree course. For example in entrance exam of M.A. In geography, the questions asked are of nature which a student who has studied geography in his graduation can answer easily. Similarly, for entrance in M.A. International relations, a student should have basic knowledge of political Science and good command of contemporary world politics. The same pattern is followed for other courses and for other entrance exams of JNU. One can also download previous year papers from JNU website Welcome to Jawaharlal Nehru University or can buy it from bookshops located on the university campus. The entrance exam of M.Sc Biotech is conducted through CEEB that is Combined Biotechnology Entrance Exam which is different from the regular entrance exams of JNU for admission to other courses.

JNUEE is an entrance exam organised by Jawaharlal Nehru University. JNU entrance exam is a gateway for admission into various UG, PG & other programmes. Students will get admission in BA (Hons.), M.Tech, M.Phill, MA, MCA, M.Sc, etc. Exam organised 6 months before the starting of the new session this year exam is organized in between 27th Dec. to 30th Dec. 2017. Here is the pattern of exam: This year JNU organized an online exam. Last year, there were both subjective and objective level questions but this year, the exam is online so only objective questions of 100 marks with negative marking for every wrong answer.
