If you are interested in making career in Hospitality industry, then there are many entrance examinations after class 12th. You can appear in entrance of NCHMCT JEE, IP, TAJ group, Oberai group & Vidyapeeth. Most of the entrance examinations are held in May or June. Forms are available in February. Subjects in entrance examination are Mathematics, Reasoning, General knowledge, English & Service Aptitude. Multiple choice questions are asked. Negative marking is there. Generally time is of 2 hours.

The NCHMCT JEE is national level exam that is held annually across the country. This exam exams allows admission into the IHM's. A lot of private institutes also accept and prefer the students who hold a rank in the NCHMCT JEE, therefore this is an ideal exam that any aspiring HM student should option for. The exam is generally held in the month of April-May .The eligibility of the exam is 12th pass with at least 50% pass marks. This is a multiple choice questions based exam that has 200 questions related to the areas of English, reasoning and logical thinking, general knowledge and current affairs. The exam has negative marking hence one needs to be careful in the approach to attempt the exam. The exam has a duration of 3 hours.
