There are two types of expenses that are accounted for. One is accommodation charges and other is institute fee while the institute fee varies for both public and private institutes. Accommodation charges also include for the Fixed monthly Expenses and Personal Expenses. Fixed monthly Expenses include Rent and health Insurances that combined can be safely assumed 300 to 400 Euros. Personal stuff can cost you another 200 Euros or so. University fee varies if you are attending a public or a private university. Again you shall have to fly to India that is another expense to be accounted for (Some 500 Euros or so.) These are the expenses that you need to take care of while studying in Germany.
