Economics is the most important and demanding subject these days. After this you will come across many job opportunities like financial services, can apply in Reserve Bank of India, can be a financial adviser, can apply in banks, insurance companies, etc.

A Bachelor's degree in economics can lead to entry-level business careers in small business, large companies, banks or financial services firms.
