The kind of courses depends on your interest and your career goal. If you want to pursue career in HR, MBA in HR from a good institute should be sufficient to build a career. You can do certificate courses in coaching/leadership if you are interested in organizing workshops. There are also certification programs in data analytics which will be relevant today as HR analytics field is developing. There are several courses available online on International labor laws and foreign language which can enhance your profile if targeting for multinational company. As the role of HR revolves a lot around people, the leadership and people skills are very important. Thus, it's not that important to add courses on your resume rather you can also get associated with some NGO and volunteering activities, or do live projects. These points add a great value to strengthen the profile and help in the interviews as well.

An MBA program in human resource management typically involves advanced level assignments, reports, presentations, internships and group projects. These programs may be available in full-time, weekend only or online formats, depending on the school. Programs typically take about two years to complete, though some might take less. A Bachelor's degree and a strong academic background are required to enroll in these programs. Students in an MBA program with focus in human resource management can take courses in business strategies and concepts as well as corporate headhunting, benefits analysis, compensation management, and business coaching. Graduates of MBA programs in human resource management are prepared to go in to fields such as human resources or payroll managing, continue to Ph.D. programs, or gain further credentials through professional certifications.

I don't think you need to take any professional courses but there are many skills you can develop which will help you in future. So some of the skills you can learn are - 1. Microsoft office - You think you know much about it, think again. There are many short online courses and tutorials available on various websites and YouTube. These will really help you master the tools like MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc. If you have mastery over these skills it will save you a lot of time while working and it will be much easier for you to use these tools. 2. Human Resources Information Software (HRIS) - Look for trainings and courses for the same. These software are designed to reduce the workload on the managers. This is a combination of HR and IT to make HR's life much simpler. Being certified in Human Resources Information Software will surely help. 3. Social Media - You should learn how to use these platforms efficiently for finding suitable candidates. The most widely used one is LinkedIn. So if you are not already familiar with that. Start using it and keep on learning. Apart from all these keep on working on with your written and oral communication skills and inter personal skills.
