Final placement for batch 2016 (Source: placement report from the website):- Highest package - Rs 37 lakh and average package - Rs 16 lakh. Top 10% - Rs 26.6 lakh (domestic), top 20% - Rs 23.7 lakh ( domestic) and top 50% - Rs 20.7 lakh ( domestic). No. of PPO - 84 for a batch of 392. Prominent recruitment agency - Amazon, EY, PWC, KPMG, Deloitte, P&G, HUL, Marico, Nestle, Capegemini, ITC, GSK, BMW etc. Basically there are chance that you will earn package of Rs 20 lakh if you are on the top in the batch. There are 5 course in NITIE :-PGDIM, PGDIE, PGDMM,PGDPM and PGDISEM out of which PGDIM & PGDISEM are MBA equivalent and have students coming through CAT and PGDIE, PGDMM & PGDPM have people coming through GATE.The thing with NITIE is that the competition is immense and unique as you will be competing with not just the top brass of CAT scorers but also the top notch people of GATE as well which makes the competition all the more immense.
