Even though Mumbai University is among the best universities of the country it failed to provide quality placements to its student of law course. Students have to struggle a lot to get internships in the top tier firms or in-house companies. Exceptional students get the job by interning through contacts but most of the people prefer litigation while some remain unemployed. The helping hand of college is not much encouraging when compared to NLU counterparts. I think the best thing about students of University of Mumbai is that you can intern with some amazing lawyers in Mumbai high court and Supreme Court. You can also try for CLAT for LLM where you can get top level Public sector Undertakings.
