Jayoti Vidyapeeth Women's University is the first private university in India for women. It was established in the year 2008, at Jaipur in Rajasthan. This university offers courses in more than 30 disciplines and of course design is one of these. Even though the size of the university is small and being a one campus university, puts some restrictions on the functioning. But Jayoti has taken this as an advantage and turned adversity into opportunity. It has tie-ups with many industries in and around Jaipur as well as all India level to accept it's students as interns. This is what industry desires and it's the students who are ultimately benefited. Internship hones and calibrates the inherent talents of its design specialist to the requirement of industry during this period and industry also gets to know the passion and commitment of trainees.
