Bhagwant University offers a degree in Mass Communication and Journalism aim at getting the students placed as professionals in the media industry. There are various profiles for which the media houses approach college and the college itself also gets them for campus placements. The university might have a good reputation for placements for professional, especially Engineering courses. BUT the Placements of MEDIA Courses are not at all good. This is submitted as an observation that being a regional part university, the limitations on real Skills and exposure of Mass Media are there. That limits the placements of Mass Media. The profile that is most suitable and is offered to the Master's degree holders are: 1. Journalist or Reporter with a Print Media-Newspaper or Managing 2. Electronic Media-News Reader, TV Reporter 3. Having Technical Skills then Editor 4. Editor of a Newspaper or Any other publication depending on the Language Skills of the Candidate. 5. Content Writer 6. Teaching/UGC NET Examination
