To crack AMUEEE, first of all you need a good preparation with sound knowledge of physics, chemistry and maths. Chemistry would be easy as always, physics would be more theoretical with smaller numerical problems and maths would be a little bit on diverse side with a little time taking numerical. But the main issue of AMUEEE exam is time management, as you have to answer around 150 questions in 3 hours with 1 positive marks and 0.25 negative marks. Cutoff for external students goes around 65-75 and for internal 55-65. Best of luck!

If you are preparing rigorously for JEE then cracking AMUEEE won't be that difficult. So, if you are already preparing for JEE then what should you do for cracking AMUEEE. So what is cracking AMUEEE all about? It is more about the clarity of concepts and lots of problem-solving and an excellent time management. If you have prepared rigorously for JEE then you won't need any extra books for AMUEEE. Rather, I would suggest giving a lot of mock tests. Make sure you are thorough with all the formulas and general solution for simple cases as it can save a lot of time in the exam. Use websites like 'embibe' for mock tests. It is a really helpful site. The main point is timed practice and a lot of revision. Apart from that take a look at previous year's papers. There are some books available in the market for mock tests but buy only from trusted publishers. Mainly while your exam, have confidence before going for the exam or your entire preparation will be of no use in the end. All the best!

I have appeared for AMUEEE and have cleared the cut-off few years back so I think I am the right person to answer this question. Frankly speaking, I just started preparing 3 months before the exam. I was preparing for JEE so it was not very difficult for me to cover the syllabus in 90 days. One year is enough to crack AMUEEE even if you have not started your preparation. All you need is to study with a proper plan. First, you need to check the syllabus and mark the topics you already know. Revise you strong topics quickly and start chapters you partially know. Practice some quality questions and move to the new topic. NCERT will be more than enough for chemistry.You may prefer HC Verma for physics.

If you want to crack AMUEEE in one year, here are some important tips: 1) Plan Your Preparation: First of all, candidates should make a study plan for their preparations. Decide about the areas you need to concentrate more and which sections may help you to score better. 2) Manage your Time: After getting knowledge about the syllabus & exam pattern, manage your time according to your daily routine. Prepare your time-table according to the syllabus. Prepare short study periods for your preparation including some intervals to refresh from studies. 3) Good Study Material: Candidates should read from good books for their exam preparations. Exam preparation books are available in the market from which students can prepare. 4) Mock Test & Previous Year Question Papers: Candidates can practice Mock Tests which are available on the internet for better practice. Try to solve the mock test in the prescribed time to analyze your performance. Previous year question papers are also good for exam preparations to familiarize with the exam pattern. 5) Stay Healthy: Too much physical or mental stress will affect in your studies. Take a proper sleep for at least seven to eight hours per day. Take healthy & nutritious diet. Meditation or Yoga may help you to concentrate on your studies.
