Determination and dedication are the two main Ds which one should have in plenty. It's the mind which helps you achieve whatever your dreams or goals are and at the same time acting on it. 1. Make formulae sheets along with your preparation, you can also use 100 marks mind maps. 2. Keep marking tricky questions to look upon at the time of revision. 3. Always solve questions in time constraints. 4. It is not at all necessary to attempt questions in a specific order, start with the easiest. 5. You only have 1 year, focus on problem-solving tactics rather than analysis of questions. 6.If a reverse approach is easy then use it rather than following full solution procedure. 7. Go with few books, clear your basics and keep yourself attached to the school curriculum. 8. Study all three subjects daily, you may decide timings according to your convenience and do it consistently and eventually, you will surely secure a good rank. 9. Have faith in yourself. 10. There will be times when you would find it difficult to understand and manage things. Do not give up. That is the point where many aspirants give up and finally fail. Keep giving your best, even if you feel like you aren't getting any output. Remember, hard work pays forever. All the best.

This question makes sense considering you already prepared properly for JEE Mains and now preparing for advance or took a drop year for the same. So the answer will be assuming you already prepared for Mains (otherwise it will be really difficult to start from scratch and crack JEE Advance in 1 year). So the most important thing is clarity of concepts and their efficient application to the problems. If you have prepared properly for JEE Mains then you would have both the required things to a good extent. Now you just need to hone your skills further. So start solving higher level problems from each chapter. The books I recommend are: Physics: Concepts of Physics Vol I and II by H.C. Verma Problems in General Physics by I.E. Irodov Fundamentals of Physics by Halliday, Resnick and Walker First finish HC Verma and make sure you understand how you are solving the problems then move to other two books. Maths: Maths XI & XII by R.D. Sharma Higher Algebra by Hall and Knight Problems in Calculus of One Variable by I.A. Maron Books by Cengage publications are also good. Chemistry: Physical Chemistry by O.P. Tandon Chemistry XI and XII by NCERT Organic Chemistry by O.P. Tandon So these books can efficiently make you understand how you are solving the problem and why are you doing a particular step in an answer. It is all about understanding concepts and applying them effectively which will come through lots of dedicated practice. Once you are done with the portions, make sure you give a lot of mock tests. After each mock carefully analyze each test and see where you are making mistakes and try to learn from it. Make sure you join some reputed coaching's test series for Advance. Don't ignore time management as well. So remain focused and dedicated for one year and make sure you never slack off in between.

Dear, Firstly, you need to cover your syllabus and revise at least 4 times before JEE Mains. Maintain a time table which should give 1 hour per subject and take a self-test every day in night time and note down the time that at what time you would complete the test. Next day, ask your teachers about all the doubt. You can take a meditation session while morning and evening for 15 mins, it will help you to concentrate on your study and focus too. All the best!
