The aim is mostly personal, so, check your likes and dislikes. You must also verify your financial status. Sometimes, you may want an immediate job. Your M.Tech/MBA would be only better if you pursue it from a reputed institution.

If you want to go for research or become a professor or want to go for depth knowledge in domain then you can go for M.Tech, but if you want to give your career a boost then go for MBA, and having a technical and management degree surely gives you an edge over others as company gets a dual skilled candidate. Rest depends on your interest and your future goals. All the best.

It totally depends on your interest. If you love what you did in Bachelors, then you must follow it up with M.Tech but if you did B.Tech like many others (because you had to do something) then you can plan on checking out what MBA has to offer for you. It's your choice, so decide which one you can take through technical or managerial.

In my view, MBA has a little edge over MS with respect to working skills required in an organisation. MBA will enhance your team building and management skills an add-on to your technical skill. M.Tech will further boost your technical and you will be in your core subject area of interest. At the end, it all depends on your planing of career growth and your interest.

This would depend on your interest areas, and career aspirations. In case you intend to pursue a career in Technical / research / academics area, then M.Tech/ MS is better. However, if you want to move into general management the MBA is better. Salary is a function of many factors. It is advisable to pursue a course of your interest area, as chances of greater success will be there in doing what you like to do than doing something that doesn't meet your aspirations.
