To become a news anchor, you should go for Masters in journalism and mass communication.

You would generally need a degree in journalism. But if you have a good voice and respectability and command over language, most news channels don't look for a journalism degree anymore.

1 - With a degree in Journalism, get a job as a reporter at a TV station. Do anything and everything to get on the air as much as possible. 2 - Compile a reel of all your best times on-air, submit this to TV stations. 3 - Once you have moved at least once, and find yourself in a place you could deal with living in for a while, and where the current on-air talent is old or weak, set to become an anchor for the local news, on any show, including the 5 AM stuff. Make sure to kick * when any real news happens.
