Engineering is the most preferred option after +2 with PCM. Mechanical Engineering is called an evergreen branch considering its placement potentials. Streams in demand include Electronics and Communication, Instrumentation, Electrical and Electronics, Computer Science and Engineering and so on. Besides there are new generation streams such as Information technology, Avionics, Aeronautical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automobile Engineering, Robotics and so on. Considering the trends in growth of industry, electronics and computer sciences streams are predicted to have good prospects in future. For PCB stream, Medicine comprising of MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BVSc, BHMS etc. and B Sc in Nursing/ Agriculture/ Diary Sciences/ Home Sciences etc. are some of the choices . But a B Sc in Maths or Sciences , Bio Technology or Bio Informatics, BBA, BCA are found to be preferred by many including those who fail to clear entrance examinations.

Apart from engineering, you can go for B.Sc. Which is very popular now and you can choose B. pharmacy, MABS or any other medical courses. Or you can even choose to enter other streams as well. But, I would recommend you for B.Tech in CS which will utilize your mathematical skills in a good way.
