If you want to join civil services then I will suggest you to choose law from any leading law university like NLUD or NLS, etc.

If you are aiming IAS, then you should go for B.Sc. You will get much time to prepare. And will take a year less than B.Tech.

I would suggest you should pursue BA LLB if you want to prepare for civil services. BA alone would also be very helpful.
