Performance on Large-Scale Systems: Java speed makes it best for building large-scale systems. While Python is significantly faster than R, Java provides even greater performance than Python. Speed and scalability are the reason Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook rely on Java as the backbone of their data engineering efforts. Development Time: The Java Virtual Machine (JVM) is a great environment for developing custom tools quickly. The programming language Scala runs on JVM and is popular with data scientists for its combination of object-oriented and functional programming.

That completely depends on you, you have to decide if you like to code or you love to work on hardware configuring and securing networks, both programming and networking have their own good and bad sides. Java Programming is a powerful programming language used in developing cross-platform and object-oriented applications. With an online training in Advanced Java Programming course from participants can gain expertise in developing applications. CCNA-CCNP, it’s purely networking. It has less syntax but more thinking and understanding. It consists of network designing. You have to design networks between devices and make them communicate each other. Go for the one which you are interested in. Because if you are not interested in anything you won't become a master of it so do what you like so you should not regret your decision later. Opportunity wise both are very good and have very good scope with good salaries for the right candidates.
