Computer Science and Information technology are two sides of same coin . Computer Science is traditional concept or branch which is deals with both traditional concepts such as Algorithms, Date Structures, system architecture etc. and applications like Programming , Web Application Development, Networking and Telecommunication etc. Where as IT is considered as combination of the following branches. 1. Computing 2. Information processing 3. Communication technology. But for one who have studied computer science / IT , papers are almost same. And the employment opportunities are also same in nature. in the syllabuses of BSc/ B Tech IT and CS and IT, you can find same papers, topics etc. After the completion of the course, same career opportunities are awaiting for both graduates. The higher education opportunities are also similar. So dont bothered about CS and IT. Both will lead you into same career.
