Eligibility for M.D. in General Medicine: As a minimum criterion of eligibility, aspiring candidates need to have completed MBBS/BAMS with a minimum aggregate score of 50% with 1-year compulsory internship. Also, a minimum aggregate score of 60% at the level of graduation. Often, candidates are required to qualify an institute, state or national-level entrance test for admission to the course. MS is mostly a course which is offered by universities abroad. GRE and language proficiency tests are required to gain admission in universities abroad.
