Both have their own pros and cons. For several B.Tech graduates planning to pursue higher education, it is primarily a choice between MBA and M.Tech programmes. While both qualifications offer good placements and a stable career, the decision should be a well-calculated one. While an MBA prepares you for generalist roles and opens your avenues in non-technical industries, an MTech qualification offers you plush jobs and a freedom to take your love for technology to the next level.

Taslim, both are equally good but then if you are inclined towards teaching or technical aspects you should go for M.Tech. Otherwise you should go for MBA as it will help you climb up the managerial ladder and go up in your career. In case you did not give GATE,CAT, MAT, etc, then you should try for admission in private universities like LPU, SMU, SRM, etc. Some of them will give you direct admission on the basis of your previous qualification and some on the basis of their own tests. Most private universities these days are at par with govt.ones and offer equally good facilities to students. Some even offer scholarships. Check their websites for more details. Good luck.
