Here is no percentage limit defined. Graduation degree in a relevant discipline from a recognized university is preferable. Public sector banks recruit candidates at 2 levels- the officer level and the clerical level. After XII (Commerce or any subject) Graduation followed by banking examination for Probationary officers can be taken. Engineers, agricultural scientists, home economists, chemists, lawyers, language specialists can enter banking through the special category intake. Foreign and Private banks recruit bright candidates from the parent organization on the basis of merit or campus selections are made at reputed management institutes. MBA/ Masters in Finance Control/ CA/ Certified Analysts course/ Business Economics/ Public Relations /Law are preferred qualifications for Multinational and Private Banks. You can start working on the essential skills- Team leadership qualities Integrity, confidentiality and honesty in all dealings with money, customers & staff Foreign exchange transactions need an analytical, quick and mature mind Good communications skills in speech & writing Numerical aptitude Well-organised mind and well-rounded personality Also refer-
