Game design is a very professional skill-set to learn. If one has just passed 10th standard, it would become very difficult to get into the game industry as the top rated companies and even a start up game company does not recruit 10th completed and 12th completed students. Either a UG degree in game design or any UG degree plus a Master's degree would be necessary to get into game companies. The main point I would like to emphasise here is that if one is not even a Bachelor's degree holder, there is no chance that any good game company would provide employment. If you are thinking to skip +2 and join a game course after 10th, kindly change your thought process. Please study +2 and then select a good college for a UG degree in game design.
