Humanities is one evergreen field which shall always be the need of the hour in crisis situations specially. With media consumption on rise, humanities degree shall generate lakhs of jobs and some roles definitely might become redundant in near future with growth of robotics and artificial intelligence used by organization. However, this will create a new set of jobs especially into management domain. Hence, we can expect the growth curve to remain stagnant and some roles mentioned below shall remain relevant throughout the millennium which involves lot of intuition and people management: 1. Education Counsellors 2. Event Organization 3. Public relationship manager 4. Celebrity and Sports manager 5. Lawyer 6. Chief Editor 7. FBI Agent 8. Foreign Correspondent 9. Human Resources manager 10. School principal 11. Chief Artist Some jobs which might fade out or replaced with machines are as follows:- 1. Translator 2. Genealogist 3. Journalist 4. Narrator 5. Linguist 6. Technical writer

Every section of humanities is flourishing in India. It depends on the individual that how seriously you take it and how you clear it. The demand for humanities graduates is exponentially increasing day by day because of their applicability. Courses like Economics, Political Science, Library Science, History and Geography will never face demand declination because these courses are more or less pervasive. Hence this may be the very wise choice if you decide it as your career destination. Whether it is India or abroad, the job chances are always huge. But, on the other hand, sociology and psychology are on declining slope. The demand for this course is slightly decreasing nowadays because these are generally of low applicability in the real world. These are my opinions. Humanities is all famous for its application course, not for these. Hope this helps. Best of luck.
