The NMAT by GMAC exam is computer-delivered and gives each candidate a randomly generated test from a pool of questions, delivered one-at-a-time. quantitative aptitude and data interpretation. The section had at least one question from each topic under QA and DI. The topics covered include mainly arithmetic (averages, percentage, profit and loss, ratio and proportion, time and distance, time and work) and modern maths including Geometry, PnC Probability. Apart from it, there was a good balance of questions between data interpretation and data sufficiency. Overall, NMAT is a predictable paper. A correct attempt of 30 to 35 questions can be termed as a good score. NMIMS selection process consists of two stages and has three components. Based on the performance in the NMAT examination, only shortlisted candidates are called for the Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) round.
