Studies in Indaprastha University being the premier institute need lots of focus. Though question paper is not tougher than JEE Mains and can be cleared thorough studies on CBSE text books that is NCERT. There is no proper syllabus criteria for the particular topics in IPUCET but the topics from which the chances are absolute high the questions will be asked are as follows. Chemistry being the most scoring and time consuming need to be focused first with the topics. P Block, D block, equilibrium, biomolecules, polymers, organic chemistry of alkanes alkenes and alkynes, halo compounds and nitrogen containing compounds. Mole concept, atomic structure, thermodyanamics and periodic properties of elements. Physics, waves, kinematics, fluids, SHM, ray optics, NLM, friction circular motion, rotational motion are some of the important topics. Maths, full calculus including integration, differentiation, area under curve, functions, application of derivatives, series, full 2d that is elipse, parabola, hyperbola. Though all the topics are important but these topics are more than sufficient to get a good rank. Only the focus should be in logical thinking rather than long solutions. Also, there are as it is same facts from NCERT books so that need to be studied thoroughly. Thank you hope it helped.

Well, if you are preparing for Indraprastha University CET, then let me tell you that it is one of the premier exam to engineering and various other course under the Indraprastha University situated in New Delhi. Well, if you are trying to ensure that you will remain focus on Chemistry part-Thermodynamics, Polymers, equilibrium, Electro chemistry, Isomers, isotherms. PHYSICS PART-Vector 3D, solid-state, Gravitation, wave optics, Rays, Light theory, mirrors image, Maths part-Integration, Iimits and dervative, Difrrentation, etc. Now, come the part of how to crack the exam and how to prepare. So, basically, you have to be firstly patient and calm and thorough about your subject matter on the exam. Just go through your syllabus in which you have to be on the top of your fingers if you have gone through all your syllabus part, then it will keep you aware about the main topics of the exam. So, it will be easy for you keep a track of your subjects. Take guidelines from your teachers and seniors and try to give more time to practice rather than just study practices and you will surely get a good rank. All the best.

Brush up your concepts from ncert(especially for chemistry). Buy Arihant IPU previous year papers book. Many questions will be directly asked from it. Keep practising mock tests. And one more tip, By any chance you get 1-2k rank, don't forget to take part in Spot round, U will get CSE directly. I will advise covering entire portion but for revising and all here are important topics- CHEM: THERMO Polymers /biomolecules/ chem_in_everydaylife Eqbilirium Electrochemiatry S P D F block Coordination compounds (isomerism) PHYSIC: Collision Solid/liq /Gaseous states. GRAVITATION /Electrostats/ Ray & wave optics Dual nature & semiconductors (Graphs) MATHS: tangent normal Matrices & Determinants VECTORS 3D Limits & Continuity AOD (PYQ Ggsipu arihant) Integration

Answer Request Follow5 2 ANSWERS Chandrajeet Kumar, Cracked JEE Advanced 2015 and 220/360 in JEE Main 2015. Updated May 3, 2016 You need to prepare yourself mentally as well as physically to face this competition. Mentally, you need to think wide when you think of competition you are facing. Remember there are more than 10000 schools (just CBSE) in India. So dont get defocused and remember that you have to compete with unknowns. Most of you would have scored well in your school level examinations by not even spending 20 hours on studies at home. This is not going to be enough with such a huge competition. You need to scale up your efforts and set a target of 50-55 hours studies at home every week. But just sitting in front of the books for these 50-55 hours is not enough. You have to study with full concentration, no disturbance, and continuously for 3 hour sessions. The idea is to simulate real exam conditions. While studying, you have to create an atmosphere as if you are sitting in exam.
