Brother, placement depends on your potential. College will invite hotels and you will be responsible for your interview. What happens is, in a same college students get selected as a management trainee and some students get into hotel operations trainee. There is a huge difference between both of them. Career progression is high in MT program's as if you are doing well in an MT, then you certainly have a chance to land directly as an assistant manager after the probation period. But if you are going through HOT (operations trainee) then you have to go step by step. So rather focus on your personality, attitude and emotional quotient and learn everyday new things that are not taught in your college.
