Gujarat has some of the very good government as well as private engineering colleges. Choosing government engineering college over a private engineering college may depend upon various factor. Why exactly do you want to choose one college over other? Placement might be your answer. I will rank some government as well as private engineering college on the basis of placement, faculties, and infrastructure. 1. Indian Institute of Technology, Gandhinagar 2. Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of technology, Surat 3. Dhiru Bhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology (DAIICT), Gandhinagar 4. Institute of Infrastructure, Technology Research, and Management (IITRAM), Ahmedabad. 5. Institute of Technology Nirma University, Ahmedabad 6. Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Vadodara 7. LD College of Engineering, Ahmedabad 8. Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University, Gandhinagar. 9. Charotar University of Science and Technology, Petlad 10. Viswakarma government engineering College, Ahmedabad 11. IIIT Vadodara. You can choose DAIICT over LDCE because DAIICT can beat LDCE in every aspect. I will put it between number 5 and 6.
