Dear, it will depend on your interest as both the branches are good. If you have an interest in the software world, computer science engineering rules and when it comes to the core world, its the mechanical engineering. Both of these fields are entirely different. If you are interested in the computer applied field, go for computer science and if working with engines and modelling suits you the best, then go ahead with the mechanical. There is no gender restriction for admission to either of these fields and coming to employment opportunities, both have a bright scope, provided you score well and come out with no history of arrears. So introspect yourself. Decide what suits you the best and go ahead. Be confident with your decision and you would rock. All the very best.
