From both the colleges that you have mentioned above, the best college for the CSE branch as according to my knowledge is BMSCE, as this college has best infra, quality placements and experienced faculty.

Both the colleges are very good. As a student from BMSCE, I would say its one of the top colleges in Karnataka. It helps the students grow academically as well as in extra-curricular activities

Both are equally good colleges with respect to computer science. Placements are amazing in both colleges which is above 90% . Campus wise R.V is better as it's huge and canteen facilities is good. When it comes to BMS the crowd in the college including the faculties and the staff is very good. For co-curricular activities BMS has many clubs where in students can participate. BMS provides many mini projects in computer science department where it is helpful for students to develop their knowledge practically. Finally I would like to say that you can join BMS if want a fun loving environment and amazing computer science faculties.
