NIT, Trichy has been ranked one among the NITs for a while now whereas NIT, Surathkal is said to be in top 3 but its position keeps on fluctuating. If we see the MHRD ranking for engineering colleges NIT, Trichy stands at 11 while NIT, Warangal stands at 22. Coming to the CSE department, the curriculum of both the colleges is similar. Both the NITs are among the top 3 NITs of India. But, NIT-Trichy has an upper hand on NIT-Surathkal as the ranking and placement statistics of NIT-Trichy is better than Surathkal. So, I would suggest you go for NIT-Trichy. All the best.
