Mechanical engineering, RVCE is better than PES. RVCE is always focusing on practical education as compared to theoretical one. Oth the colleges have multiple labs. RVCE-ME has been called the Center of Excellence by the Government of India in nanotechnology. Placements: Placement is something that every student is concerned about more than anything else. Well, both the colleges have equally good placements. ME department invites a lot of core companies like Mercedes, Honda, and Kirloskar.

For Mechanical engineering, PES is better than RVCE. RVCE is always focusing on practical education as compared to theoretical one. I would prescribe you to go to PES.
