Which college, subject and course should I choose to become an automobile designer?

To enter in to this field you need to pursue B.Des course in Transportation Design followed by an M.Des degree. After completion of the course you can work as a designer for designing private and commercial automobiles, marine vessels, motorcycles, aircrafts, rockets or heavy weight transportation vehicles. If you pursue this course from reputed colleges then you will get good placement opportunities and based on your learning and knowledge you can grab good packages too. Some of the best institutes to pursue this course are: National Institute of Design Ahmedabad, MIT Institute of Design Pune, DSK International School of Design Pune, UPES School of Design Studies Dehradun & DYP-DC Center for Automotive Research and Studies Pune. Most of the entrances are already over to get admission in these colleges but you can appear in 2nd-3rd round of tests.like UPES has announced its next round of UPES-DAT test which is on 15th June, 2016. You can apply for it. Check out website of above mentioned colleges and see which other colleges are accepting applications currently. Hurry up and admissions are almost on closing end.
