Germany is world leader in Mechanical and Automobile Engineering. You can plan your MS in any German University of your choice. The eligibility criteria for MS differ in different universities. General eligibility criteria to in German University is as follows: (a)High Academics performance or records in undergraduate studies. (b) If the course is taught in German, then proof of proficiency in German Language. If the course is taught in English, then proof of proficiency in English by TOEFL or IELTS score. (c) Some universities Require GRE score (d)With relevant work experience in the field of further study chances of selection increases (e) Demonstration of technical ability through project execution, participation in Technical symposium, conference etc. (f) Recommendations letters from International known faculty from where college of graduation. Indian students do not face any major problem in German universities. Following are few challenges which can be overcome easily: (a) Language barrier. All Indian students will have to learn basic German language to survive in Germany. If you do not learn German language in India, you may have to put additional effort by joining German language courses in first six month of your PG studies. (b) Cultural Integration: Indian and German culture differs but most of German university conduct cultural integration program for international students. You must make your own effort to adopt to German culture and appreciate cultural diversity. (c) Choices of Veterinarian food options may be limited. (d) Cost of Living is very high. German Government allows students to work 20 hour per week to subsidise their living expenses.
