B.Com is Bachelors in commerce and BBA is Bachelors in business administration. Both the courses are completely different and focus on different fields. The scope of both the fields is pretty good.

Both BBA and B. Com have their own merits and demerits. It depends entirely on the student's areas of interest and skills before choosing either of the courses. If making a career in management field is your priority then you should go for BBA as it the foundation for management and has been specifically designed for MBA aspirants. B.Com, on the other hand, is much more diversified and has a wider scope for specialization for postgraduate study Thus, it is advisable to first chalk out your skills aptitude and area of interest before taking up any of the courses instead of looking at the money making aspect while choosing a course as it is more feasible to choose a course that will give you long-term benefits rather than short-term benefits. So, choose wisely as per your interest and passion. Hope this information helps. All the best.

I would answer this question differently by asking you whether income is the only yardstick for taking a course. In the long run, your aptitude and liking determine what kind of career you want to take. If you are good in accounts, book-keeping and interested in commerce you should do a B.Com. In case you aspire to be in the management field, e-commerce, customer relationship management and also leadership you should pursue a BBA. Deciding a career based on income has its pitfalls. You might gain money but that won't buy you happiness. In the long run, your aptitude and liking determine what kind of career you want to take. Remember Steve Jobs' (Apple's founder) quote - Love what you do and do what you love.
