BCA is a UG course while Polytechnic is Diploma. Pursuing a UG course has got a higher repo than doing diploma. So BCA can be a better option. However, it depends on your interest what u want to pursue.

It depends on you. If you like programing languages like C, C+ or Java then you must go for BCA. Else if you are interested in polytechnic, you go with it because in future only your knowledge will work i.e. how much you know about your field.

Polytechnic is the best option as it is a Diploma course & BCA is a UG course. But in today's life, there is a scope of technical people in both government and private sector. After Diploma engineering, you can easily get a good college of B.Tech where you can get direct admission in 2nd year of B.Tech. In Diploma, you will learn basic things & in B.Tech you will learn analysis. Your basics will be more clear then and you will be having a wide knowledge in practicals too. I also did the same. It will be helpful.

Polytechnic is better than BCA because job chances are more than BCA and after polytechnic you can join for B.Tech or BE.

according to my view , BCA is best rather than polytechnic. infact earlier there was a huge demand for polytechnic but now its less. after BCA u can go for MCA which is equivalent to B.TECH. all the best. search for your interest
