Go for ECE as its a huge industry. There are great employment opportunities in private, national and multinational companies, PSU, etc. demanded in both India and abroad. You can search jobs in ISRO, DRDO, BEL, PO, SSC IES, IAS IRS, BSNL JTO. ECE gives students an opportunity to make a successful career in the fast-growing telecom industry, where students get a decent remuneration at entry level itself, which increases as the student gains experience and expertise. Media and Entertainment industry is the biggest employer for Electronics and Communication engineers. Along with this, government sector has also proved beneficial in terms of job provision for degree holders of this programme. Organizations like MTNL, BSNL, Civil Aviation have been hiring Electronic and Communication engineering students from many years. Sector where students of B.Tech ECE are placed are as follows: Indian Engineering Service Indian Telephone Industry Semi-Conductor, Chip Design Industry Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. Civil Aviation Department Power Sector Software Industries Indian Railways After completing your B.Tech, Jobs can be searched in companies such as : CISCO, ORACLE, TOSHIBA, TATA, PHILLIPS, Texas Instruments, Intel, AMD, IBM, Samsung Electronics, Sony, Nokia, Nvidia, HP, LG Electronics, BHEL, ECIL, NTPC, Wipro, HCL, ISRO, SYNTEL, SIEMENS, BEL, ESSAR GODREJ & BOYCE, MAHINDRA & MAHINDRA, ONGC.
