As compared to B.Tech, BCA is better, because BCA cover 2 or 3 more languages. In B.Tech, language is there, but not as much because in B.Tech, you also cover networking terms and other types of technology so if you like coding then you also choose a specializations course in BCA. Good luck.

See, for the programming you can opt any of these because at the time of placements the companies only values your skills and not the degree. So, if you are from BCA and having more skills then the B.Tech student, then you are the only one which the company will hire.

B.Tech is an advanced course than BCA and there is a higher scope for B.Tech.

You should choose B.Tech over BCA because in B.Tech you will learn languages like C, C+, Java, and Python. Moreover, coding is more enforced to B.Tech students. Rest all depends on your hard work and you should do competitive programming in platforms like Hackerearth, Hackerrank, Code Chef, Interview Bit, Top Coder, etc.
