If you do MBA, you will perceive both managerial and technical skills. So, you'll have better job opportunities later on. So, think if you want money or portfolio.

Choose any course wisely keeping your interest in your mind. Both courses give you ample of opportunities and have their own importance and need. If you are technically sound and has flair for technology then go for M.Tech else do MBA. You need to qualify any entrance test (such as CAT / MAT/ XAT/ NMAT/ CMAT / GMAT/ NEST and should also have min of 50% to 55% in your Bachelors. You can do MBA in any specializations of your interest. Some Good Colleges are: IIMS, Xavier's Labour Relations Institute, Jamshedpur (accepts XAT) Lovely Professional University, Punjab (accepts/CAT/MAT/XAT/LPUNEST) Department of Management Studies.

It depends on where you wish to see yourself after the completion of the course. If you have more of a technology mindedness and feel you can contribute more to the world of technology, then M Tech is for you. New generation courses include M Tech in Nanotechnology, Robotics and so on. If you are desirous of climbing the corporate ladder and believe you can be better at a management level, then MBA may be a good choice.
