If you feel you can contribute further to the growing world of technology after the completion of an M.Tech, M.Tech may be preferred. If you are confident of your skills as a manager, wish to jump to some middle or higher management level and the aim to climb the corporate ladder then MBA is not a bad choice.

MBA after B.Tech Mechanical will definitely open more job opportunities in comparison to M.Tech Mechanical Engineering.

I would recommend you to go for MBA because after B.Tech nowadays organizations want more of a multi-tasking or flexible candidates who can perform various tasks and not just stick to one task.

I'll suggest you to opt for M.Tech as almost nobody opts this course and the vacancies in this course are very high. Everyone is opting for this combination. But you should follow your interest.
