Which course should I pursue in the media field? Should I opt for B.Tech in electronics and media technology?

Electronics and Media Technology is a relatively new branch of engineering and very few institutes offer this course. This course deals with the technologies used by audio and visual media in order to integrate engineering and media. The students are trained not only in professional media skills but also in the engineering systems behind it. Students opting for this course in UG will have the scope to work for the electronics media industry which is a booming domain in current time. The course involves areas like video production, recording techniques, light and sound technology, computing, audio systems, network technologies, graphics, animation, video and audio production, web designing, advertising, etc. This course demands a fair amount of technological skills along with creative capacity and aesthetics.
