To become an agent of CBI, you must appear the examinations performed by UPSC. This is called the combined graduate examination. This examination is carried out once a year for the post of police sub-inspectors at the Central Investigation Bureau. The eligibility criterion is graduation with 50 percent of marks. In addition, the candidates age must not exceed 25 years. Application forms and other details are published in the employment bulletin in October. As on date, CBI has the following Divisions: 1. Anti-Corruption Division 2. Economic Offences Division 3. Special Crimes Division 4. Directorate of Prosecution 5. Administration Division 6. Policy & Coordination Division 7. Central Forensic Science Laboratory CBI Officer Eligibility: The candidates should be graduates in any discipline. The candidates should have taken the graduation from an institution which is recognised and also reputed in all respects. The candidates eligibility criteria will also vary according to the type of posts for which one is applying to. The candidates should be between 20 to 27 years of Age. There is an age relaxation in case of the SC/ST candidates which is 5 years and for OBC candidates it is 3 years.
