Both the programme are management programs. PGDM offered by RBS (Rajagiri Business School) is granted equivalence by AIU (Association of Indian Universities). Both the programme have good scope but PGDM has a few advantage over MBA. 1. There is scope for semester abroad programme and credits are transferred. 2. A Masters in Business Administration (MBA) is a degree course offered by the colleges affiliated to the universities while the Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) is a diploma course offered by the institutes that are recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Both are equivalent. And IIM'S also gives PGDM not MBA degree.
