Testing is a vital component of software development process. Software testing is a process of executing a program or application with the intent of finding the software bugs. It can also be stated as the process of validating and verifying that a software program or application or product. India is software development hub and IT industry requirement of Testers both manual and automation tester is high. Currently there is shortage of automation testers. In comparison to testers requirements Network administrator requirement is lesser. Both professions are different and difficult to compare. However, with increased efficiency of and ever decreasing cost of communication, demand for network professionals is projected to increase by up to 10 percent in next five years. With better remote networking management tools and Indian becoming hub for remote IT infrastructure management there is increasing demand for Network Administrators. This demand will continue to increase with companies and organizations investing in newer, faster technology and mobile networks. Growth is maximum expected in the BFSI, healthcare and telecom industry as the use of information technology increases in these areas. You are advised to choose between testing and network specialization based on your interest to excel in career. If you are a computer science graduates testing is a better career option nut if you are an electronics graduate then network can be better option aligned to your basic degree.
