You can go for interesting subjects like physics, for e.g. if you are interested in mechanics, dynamics, thermodynamics, go for mechanical, etc. if you are interested in circuits and stuff go for electrical. If you are interested in semiconductors, go for ECE. Choose the subject you find interesting and then choose the branch accordingly. For CSE, unlike other branches, according to me, you don’t need that much of knowledge in physics. You need a string base in mathematics and good logical skills. So, choose wisely. All the best.

You can go for electronics, electrical, computer science or mechanical engineering. You have some other not so common options like, agriculture, astronomy or research in quantum physics. There are immense opportunities in the field of mathematics and physics.

You cannot simply get away with Physics if you opt for Engineering. Mechanical Engineering is called the ever green branch as Mechanical Engineers find suitable placement opportunities in almost all segments in industry. Traditional streams in demand also include Electronics and Communication Engineering, Instrumentation, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering and so on. Besides there are a few new generation courses as well.

Chemistry does not have anything to do with the main engineering branches like: computer science, mechanical, IT, EC and civil. So you can take any branch you have interest into.
