Commercial pilot license is the required qualification to start a career as pilot in passenger and cargo flights. You should complete class 12th with minimum 50% in PCM for admission. It will take one year to complete the course. The course is focused on both theory and practical. Theory consists of airline and aviation basics, aviation rules, navigation system, structure and troubleshooting of various air crafts, etc. There will be minimum 1000 hours practical fly training in various air crafts. There is another pilot license called as Private pilot license/ PPL. Class 12th is the basic criteria for this course and PCM combination is not mandatory. But, only private flights, helicopters, etc. can be operated with this license.
