Aeronautical engineering is a study of design and systems of an aircraft. It involves practical and theoretical understanding of materials, assembling parts, testing and maintenance of aircrafts. And pilot is a person who operates the flying controls of an aircraft. Now, which is better? It really depends on you. If you want to build planes or design them, have interest and passion in that area then go for Aeronautical Engineering. If you have interest or passion of flying planes then become a pilot. You can also be a fighter pilot in IAF or you can be a commercial pilot. Choice is yours. Choose according to your interest. Good luck.
