Engineering courses are good in every term. But try to choose the field in which you have interest and curiosity. Both the courses are good in terms of placement but placement for chemical engineering is better than that of agricultural engineering. In chemical engineering there are private and government jobs whereas in agricultural engineering there are only government jobs. There are few private jobs in agricultural engineering. So agricultural engineering has good scope in government sector. Thus Chemical Engineering is better among these two in terms of Placements. Both the courses are good in terms of training, education, placement and further education. The average package for chemical engineering from a top institute is around 8-10 LPA whereas average package offered to an agricultural engineer from a top institute is 4-5 LPA. Pharma Companies like Sun pharma, Lupin Pharma, Zydus Wellness, Cadilla Pharma , Unison, Dr. Reddy, Glenmark, Dabur, Mankind, etc takes a lots of chemical engineer for the jobs.

Let's have scope battle between agriculture engineering and chemical engineering. Chemical engineering is a branch of engineering that essentially deals with the engineering of chemicals to identify and solve technical glitches.Chemical engineering also works with fields such as nanotechnology, and bioengineering. The industries that employ chemical engineers are as follows: architectural, engineering, and related services, basic chemical manufacturing scientific research and development services Resin, synthetic rubber, and artificial synthetic fibers and filaments manufacturing petroleum and coal products manufacturing, biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies business services, health-care industries, food manufacturing unites, electronics and energy manufacturers. Agricultural engineering is the branch of engineering that applied engineering science disciplines and technology practices to the efficient production and processing of food, feed, fiber, and fuels. job roles for agricultural engineering are agricultural engineer, agricultural crop engineer, agricultural inspector, agricultural specialist, farm shop manager, researcher environmental controls engineer, food supervisor plant physiologist and agricultural engineer. According to the given information, chemical engineering has better scope than agriculture engineering because agriculture engineering has its own limits in the field of research whereas chemical engineering has no bound in the field of research. The average package given to chemical engineer is more than agriculture engineer. Hope it helps!
